When we went out to Portugal to meet the two chestnut colts we met Tiago (called Chico then) who was at the main rescue site. Malcolm and he got 'talking' and suddenly, he was coming home with us too. He has always come across as bold, even pushy, but, in fact, I think he was quite anxious. He went to his first show (the Blair Gymkhana) last summer and seemed to really enjoy it. He likes doing things and he's learning to work 'with' his rider. He is very sensitive to your weight and aides (once he learns to wait and listen to them). He loves being praised and polos. If he could, I think he'd come and live in the house with us.
